Review on S.M.S.L M200: Advanced Bluetooth 5.0 Audio DAC with AK4497EQ Chip, UAT/aptX-HD/AAC/SBC Support by Peter Sullivan

I wanted a DAC with a remote and XLR and I think this is one of the cheaper options for that! It has 4 inputs and I'm a big fan of DACs with remote controls that can switch the digital source, almost everything I listen to is digital so being able to feed everything is very nice. I don't know why they had to make a parallelogram instead of a rectangle, but since it's so faint that I can't even see it from across the room, I'm just wondering why? Next, you can't completely turn off the onboard EQ to my knowledge, and a bit of a no-no for some audiophiles, but more importantly, it's not entirely bad, I don't mind and have done my best, never more about it to think about, but you could probably get Loki from Shia and turn it back if you really wanted to. I like the DAC and it's very handy, I think I won't need to change this part of my stereo for a long time, and it's not really adjusting the volume, it's more like you adjust the volume of the line out, For example, I set it to -8 db or so so I can use more range on my amp's volume control. What is the advantage other than that I have a fiber control and I have reduced the maximum volume significantly, but since I do not hear it at full power all the time idc, I connected it to a yamaha s501 and then some klipsch towers that already sounded really good, i couldn't tell the difference between this smsl and my shiit mod in some free press tests, but i suspect it cost me 200 extra for the remote and other features.
