I fly a lot (100+ segments a year) including this year during the pandemic. Aside from the other benefits of refillable water bottles, this bottle is perfect for flying. I keep it folded/rolled up in my outer carry-on bag. After the security check, I fill it up at the fountain or in the living room and attach it to my bag with a small carabiner. Most seat back pockets, including flat or mesh pockets on some economy seats, and a hanging loop can also be used to hang from the tray latch on some aircraft. this year it is very helpful. I wash mine in the dishwasher after every ride, which admittedly probably doesn't clean the inside of the bottle very well. But with hot water and good dry air it still smells clean/clean.
