For people with smaller wrists: You can do it
When I bought it I knew it was designed for a large wrist but based on the description I took a chance. I sewed it by bending it about an inch and now it fits my 5.5 inch wrist. (You really can't tell from afar.) The velcro seems to hold, although I'm not sure how long it will stay tacky. I just love how much better it fits compared to silicone. Unfortunately I'm not sure if it actually dries much faster as I still have a smelly wrist - maybe there's a way around this with such a large watch face.
