As soon as I took the product out of the box, I realized that it was poorly made. The part of the "battery" that goes into the camera was very light and thin. I put it in the battery compartment of the Canon 1DC, connected the other cables and plugged the cable into an outlet. The camera turned on. I thought nice this would actually work. I pressed record and then it went downhill. The camera recorded for about 2 minutes and then turned off. I turned the camera off and then back on. I heard the camera try to turn on, but it wouldn't turn back on until I put the real battery back in. I don't think this adapter can support Canon 1DC power requirements. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
