Use with Pioneer AVH-1440NEX head unit (which by the way is a great buy for those looking for a great car stereo with Apple Play for less than $300). Anyway, I plugged it into my Tundra's factory plug and it loads and streams music to my main unit. It's a little loose in the case, but there's a bit of hot melt adhesive on the back that you'll never remove, so it's now sturdy and stays in place very well during cable insertion and removal. It would still work without the glue, but I think it can sometimes fall out of the cavity as it seemed pretty loose on its own.
