Excellent product, the best quality.

Not my first HP laptop; my previous model, the g6-1353er, lasted for nine years (!) before that. Only recently did the battery start to malfunction, and there were also issues with a discrete video card. I also use more recent models with 14 and 17-inch screens, all of which require little maintenance aside from the occasional dusting and avoid placing them on beds or upholstered furniture with fabric upholstery because doing so will cause them to gather dust and cause the cooler to operate continuously. As always, a comfortable keyboard (without a Fn key to replace the left Ctrl and without an on/off switch to replace the Del or PgDn keys in the upper right corner), a nice touchpad, and a bright screen with vibrant colors are essential. The processor is a little noisy, but it functions quickly (we're talking about a specific edition with 1154G + 8GB + 512 SSD). The process of installing Windows 10 went smoothly since I followed the directions on the website for HP technical assistance (): I used Microsoft MediaCreationTool to create a bootable flash drive and then unpacked the Intel Rapid Storage driver onto the same flash drive. The installation did not launch automatically at startup, so I had to press F9 and choose the installation from the EFI file while providing the path to the EFI folder on the flash drive. I also installed Windows using the same guidelines from the HP website. It's a little odd to install the drivers for this reason. When you run the setup file, the console window quickly opens and shuts with nothing happening, but then a sound or the touchpad suddenly function, although this is not a major issue because. In the end, everything turned out okay. I believe that this is the best offer available in this market overall, so I heartily endorse it. Thecomlor, oh well!Color looks fantastic.

Pros
  • Best value for money, no pre-installed operating system, and great color
Cons
  • no LAN ports
