I drive a 2005 Honda Element. It's a pretty "naked" car, and there were few "bells and whistles" in 2005. I had to replace my old adapter as it had a long cord that plugged into the "cigarette lighter" that was hissing and dying to wear out. This adapter seems to work well and I like that it doesn't have any wires that come loose, go gray and cause errors. I will be buying another one for my 01 truck which is also lacking in 'modern' amenities.
