Reliable and inexpensive follow-up camera

LATE SUMMER UPDATE: Camera used for several months in the forest. TONS of video and battery life is still more than half. Stellar performance! ------------- I put my Heegomn Trail camera under the existing camera I have and I was able to compare them. More soon. Upon unboxing I find a ton of stuff including a USB cable and even a mount if you plan to use it at home or work. Also an A/V cable. Well, for my use it's a waste of movement because I don't want to remove the camera to connect it to my computer to take pictures. However, I could see it being used to monitor a home or business. Comes with a nice long and easy to use strap. It's good. It also uses the included micro SD card, which isn't very good but doesn't bother. I ended up buying a cheap pack with two cards and SD inserts so I could read the micro SD. The info says it can hold up to a 32GB card, so I guess we can't go over that limit. Compared to my other trail cam, the Heegomn Trail Cam has a wider field of view. I have also found in tests that the side radar works very well. You can see all the action, not just when the subject is in front of the camera or, worse, walking. Funny thing. The camera seems to shoot faster at a greater distance to the side than straight ahead. It was a bit of a surprise. Setting up the camera is very easy. There's a tone if you want, a time and date, and a tempo. I set the device to 1920s video and next to it to maximum resolution. The video is a bit choppy, as could be the case with a lower frame rate. Compared to my other device, the clarity is better by 4/5. The Heegomn Trail Camera has a slightly wider field of view. Video at night is also about 4/5 better. I have no problem with that, I'm just telling you what I see. Another trail camera is almost twice as expensive. The range of infrared lamps at night is really good. It seems to me that for money and shipping you get more than you pay for. Definitely worth considering. Doesn't cost a tidy sum and has an acceptable quality. Much better than the super cheap ones. Peace of mind, etc. The most important thing for me is the promised long battery life. I have had several battery pigs in the past and above all that is the most important thing for me. The time will show.
