What's good: A nice, fun bath toy. It has a permanent place in the collection of children's toys that my 7 month old daughter and her parents love! Not only does it light up, it changes color when its two separate contact points touch water, but that also means there's no on/off switch to worry about when she steps out of the tub. It's just the right size for a greedy baby to hold by the hand, and too big to fit in their mouths for a child who doesn't understand the concept of friend over food. We have other bath toys that our teething child pierced to fill with water, but the plastic on this toy seems strong and impenetrable for children's teeth. have 40 hours of battery life (about 160 baths). We are sure that she will enjoy playing with this fish long after it has stopped glowing. Something I wish I knew before buying: Speaking of battery life, the fish seems to be a little less bright after a month of use. although that doesn't seem to affect how much my daughter even loves it.
