Easy Install on 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU

Installation tricks after reading other reviews and installing it yourself today: When removing the screws on the sides, be sure to tilt the socket up while removing the screws to avoid them falling into the slot. If you use paper or plastic to fill the gap in case you drop the screw, make sure you remove the paper/plastic film after removing the screw and before inserting the new screw, otherwise the paper/ Plastic left in the gap is no place after installation to remove it. Rope would have been the best approach (tied to a factory bolt) but I was able to remove all four bolts easily and didn't drop any of them. Partially thread the new bolts in and out, then install the handrail/gasket/bolt and retighten. No-brainer, took as long as it took me to turn the allen wrench to tighten. Make sure you choose the correct handrail for each side as it is angled to guide the studs on each side. I compared the images on Amazon's website to those in the manufacturer's instructions as the instructions do not give a good idea of the entire setup installed. I'm 5ft 8", 205lbs, I have a 3" high jeep with 35" tires. I already love these grab bars and it makes getting in and out of both front seats a lot easier. It's a lot easier than using off-road hand grips. On the side windows, the angle of the handrails is much more conducive to hauling your load up and into the seat in one swift motion.
