Better than no fragrance. But to be honest, they are not that strong in taste. I don't know about anyone else's baby but mine has endured heavy loads and even those bags in the diaper pail continue to give off a stink. Even when changing the bag for a new bag, it still leaves the surrounding diaper pail uncomfortable. And YES, the bucket is changed and disinfected every week. I certainly expected these bags to be a game changer. But it's not, but it really helps. I keep buying them instead of regular bags.
