I chose this particular look because the different sizes intertwine: a large square, three rectangles, each half the size of a square, and two smaller squares, each half the size of the rectangle. Folded two levels deep, they completely and accurately fill the space in my Samsonite carry-on bag. I am impressed with the durability and quality of the material and zips. You can actually use them to compress your garments and I've managed to pack a lot more stuff in my carry-on than before without these packing cubes. They also hold their shape pretty well, and ironically they do it better the more you stuff them. I've seen complaints about the mesh being on the side instead of the top (for ventilation) but I've found this not to be a problem at all. Clean clothes don't actually need much air, and when I bring dirty clothes back from a trip, I just put them in a laundry bag provided by the hotel and then compress it into one of the rectangular cubes - no smells.
