Review on Immerse Yourself: Klipsch AW-4i In-Ear Headphones Unleash Superior Sound Quality by Amanda Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I would like to preface this review by stating that this .

In the foreword to this test report, I would like to say that this is a comparative study for headphones that cost around 30-40 euros. Of course, the more expensive the product, the better it is in terms of production and performance. If you don't mind shelling out $200-$300 for a pair of headphones, go for it. Production/Design: 8/10 I bought this model because of the "sporty" advertising on the box versus the latest Klipsch model. I've only had them for 2 days so I have yet to test the durability of the earbuds. I was a little disappointed to see that the cables are made from the same rubber tubing that my iPhone's earbuds are made of, but what can you expect for less than $40? The L/R indicators on the earbuds are small and located at the bottom. It took me a while to understand that. To Klipsch's credit, they're the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. They use a very soft rubber plastic that is comfortable and molds perfectly to the ear, offering near perfect noise cancellation. I have a large box fan in my room and these buds completely block it. For less than $40, these high-quality headphones are worth the investment. Not to mention you have a reasonable set of headphones of various sizes to choose from, as well as a carrying case and tie clip(?). The volume buttons on the device worked but the pause/play button worked on the YouTube video. All in all a well made product for the price. Sound Quality 7/10 This is where I am torn with this product. Highs and mids sound crisp, again for the price. But the floors are just awful. This gives the sound an oddly clear but muted quality at times, if that makes sense. I've tested it with both music and TV. If you listen to music, especially with a lot of bass, you might want to look elsewhere as these headphones handle high and mid frequencies. Overall: 7.5/10 Disappointed, volume buttons don't work. The bass sounds bloated, but the highs and mids are crisp and clear for the value of this product. They may have fixed the low frequencies in later models. The comfort and versatility of the headphones, along with the near-perfect noise cancellation provided by the headphones themselves, make these a worthwhile buy if you're looking for a solid pair of headphones in the $30-$40 price range.
