I like the style, the hardware, and the "leather " (not sure.
Bought this belt about 4 months ago. This is not my first ratchet strap, but it is the first from this company. Love the style and hardware, and the 'leather' (not sure if it's real leather) is good enough. But recently the belt slips out of the buckle at the cut end (the ratchet holds well). I had to cut it once because the teeth in the buckle were gnawing through the belt, but it still doesn't hold up well. I have resorted to placing a folded piece of paper between the teeth of the buckle and belt to achieve a tighter fit, which helps some but still comes loose at the wrong time. My other ratchet strap (Mission?) worked fine for over a year despite costing 3 times as much.
Pros
- good fit and works perfectly.
Cons
- The belt may not be strong enough to hold heavy objects or tools, making it less practical for certain jobs or hobbies.
