Fits HP Specter 15.6 inch PERFECT

I am very picky about my work and laptop bags. I like the clean, streamlined style, not something bulky, busy and without a lot of external pockets of different sizes Bag with two internal pockets for a large cell phone, work ID, compact or small wallet, charger, pen, etc. On the opposite side is a tight 1.5" elastic with three 5" wide sections for holding the battery and USB-C laptop cable, cable extension for the outlet, and no protruding bulkiness when zipping. I hate it. I like the fact that it doesn't have a zip all around so it doesn't accidentally fall out when carried in and out of the bag. It can prevent your device from falling to the ground when you have a butterfly moment. Interior laptop compartment is soft and well lined. Overall interior border, including corners, is thick. The outer pocket is thinner but sufficient to protect the laptop battery. The 15.6-inch HP Specter easily fits into a space of about 1.25 inches horizontally. Vertically, the distance between the edge of the machine and the inside top edge is about the width of your index finger. With the factory socket it fits perfectly, no gaps. I was surprised that this flip top case fits a laptop. In my opinion the interior is quite well padded so any movement inside is not a problem. When writing this review, I sprayed the bag with water from a spray bottle. The water rose and rolled down. The moisture never penetrated and after about fifteen minutes the hand no longer felt wet. The material feels solid and well made. I'll see how the stitching and handle hold up over time. I bought the black bag at full price and is an independent customer review.
