I bought this for my sister. She has a very straight and slim build. It's big too, but I ordered a small one anyway. It fit her, the dress hit her ankles so it wasn't floor length on her (probably our fault for choosing a small one). Our problem was with the straps. We thought convertible dresses had thicker straps. These straps were about 4 inches wide. Yes they were stretchy and the base of the straps was thick enough but tapered to 4 inches. The more you stretch it, the thinner it looks, and she ended up having to wear a camisole to look decent. It will do the job but I wouldn't call it a transformation dress because the straps are too thin to transform into anything.
