The yellow is more orange-yellow. I like the sling itself, my baby is happy in it too. The video was good for learning how to adjust it. I'm just a bit disappointed in the color. It's not the same as the product image. It's fine for fall, but less so for spring use. It's not a bright sunshiny yellow. It's a relatively minor complaint and I still like it enough that I will get another one that's more of a spring color in addition to this one. For winter I was leaning towards one of the non-mesh slings in grey.
