I was upset to see that there is no adjustable waistband and you can get the exact same french toast pants for $12 with an adjustable waistband that lasts an extra year. They fit her perfectly and I will keep them but from now on french toast is 4 times more expensive due to the price of EXACTLY the same pants. I bought pairs in khaki and navy blue. They're both a bit dark, especially khaki, it's not true khaki, bordering on light brown. Fits exactly as indicated in the table. I'm a regular 14 and they fit my 5ft 1in and 98# daughter perfectly so some people find the waist is smaller than most pants. It stretches but the waist doesn't stretch to full size.
