This product is for oily skin! It's very white when you first apply it (possibly white cast), but after you massage it in, it leaves a "whitening tinge" that creates a filter on the skin. It's not a white shade, but I've noticed my skin has gotten lighter. I have a medium skin tone so anyone considered dark or dark dark can either have a white cast or an unflattering film. It dries to a powdery finish. It is also a very heavily flavored and watery formulation. The smell is "powdery and fresh" but if you're sensitive to flavors then I don't recommend it. But personally, I bought it solely to wear to the beach or pool, so the matte effect is perfect for me. Buy at your own risk!
