Review on 🌺 Ecco Bella FlowerColor Mascara - Plant Based, Vegan Formula in Brown Shade by Wendy Kennedy

Like many other reviewers, I have never found the perfect mascara. I need to lengthen and thicken, but the mascaras I've tried make it messy and tend to clump. I have a nice little Sonia Kashuk eyelash comb/brush that helps remove clumps and clumps from lashes, but I wish I didn't need it. I was hoping this "nude" mascara would be great. It's actually not that bad. It goes on cleanly, but I have to apply at least three coats to get any volume at all. The big problem is the brush. It's not exactly like the picture on Revain. It sits straight in the container but locks into place at a 60 degree angle to the handle when pulled out. It's a neat method of holding and applying, but when the mascara is returned to the container, the excess mascara is scraped off the brush and onto the rim of the container. A few days later ink on the edges of the container and the handle of the stick. Clean up is a mess and a waste. I love the formula - it's very black but the design of the applicator is terrible. Ecco Bella contacted me shortly after posting my review. They said the applicator brush should be straight and sent me a new one. Apparently I got a defective one. I've upgraded my rating to three stars and will see how it goes. January. January 24, 2014: I received a new straight brush and have been using it for about a week. Too bad Ecco didn't send Bella a full replacement as I wasted a lot of mascara on my first purchase trying to use the wrong brush. Maybe they wanted to make sure the brush was straight. Bottom line, I really love this mascara. It clumps less than any other I've used. It applies cleanly and is the blackest, most amazingly concentrated color I have ever seen. And as other reviewers have said, it only makes enough of a few ingredients. I still do multiple uses each time for lengthening and volume. This creates a natural effect that is very flattering but doesn't look like false lashes. LOVE IT enough to change my rating to five stars!
