The camera is very light. My grandson (9 years old) couldn't get any good pictures when trying to zoom in on something. It also doesn't hear any sound on the video when played back from the camera (audible when played back on a computer). It's a little awkward to charge the battery through the computer's USB port if you don't have a USB port. All in all, if I had to do it again I would probably pay a little more for a better branded camera.
