Review on Logitech Saitek Flight Control System by Nathan Pintac

Works for me! - Controller

I mainly played Elite Dangerous with it. I had to do without the cheap T-Flight HOTAS X because the joystick registered random inputs from time to time, which was very annoying. It's a pretty good joystick/throttle combo. I ended up removing the brackets on the throttle because they're really annoying and it's an easy procedure. Makes typing very smooth. Btw if you want to do this now make holes in the rubber feet so you don't have to pierce or take them off to do this. The pinky has never worked for me and it's stuck after my last flight. I found the button layout strange, but I got used to it. I have strange behavior with lights. Specifically, all the lights never turn on again after the computer wakes from sleep, the "i" key light goes out after it's been used at all, and holding down the "i" key causes that one of the hat switch lights flickers rapidly. None of these problems are big; Actually I wish I could turn off the lights entirely because they are quite bright. However, in terms of build quality, the stick is solid and I haven't had any issues with the stick coming loose, which I've had with the last few sticks I've played with. I think I still have no dead spots after flying it for many hours. It's pretty easy to use and I know quite a few people who play with it and love it. Also note that the USB input cable comes from the throttle and isn't very long, so I had to plug it into a wired hub to access my computer (which might explain some of the weirdness in the light, although it wasn't) . other problems). So if your desktop is to the right of your desk, be prepared.
