I bought these socks for my little god who had trouble keeping his back legs up, dragging his paws and scratching and her acupuncturist recommended padded socks because regular dog socks are the boots are too big for a small dog. They must keep their nails trimmed or the nail will pierce the sock, and they are easy to change and easy to wash. They come in packs of 4 and I buy multiple pairs at a time, for less than $10 it's a good deal. I buy size x-small when she is groomed and small when her hair grows back. They fit well but their pulling made them fall off on our walks but we always find them on the way back.
