As I feared and expected, this sunglass holder, like most others, cannot hold standard sports glasses. I'm not talking about wide glasses like many women love. I wanted this for my men's sunglasses which are more sporty than dressy. I couldn't even close it safely when only four of the five seats were occupied. Why can't these designers take into account that many popular sunglasses are larger than reading glasses? I have it open and hanging on the wall and it's a decent display case but I can never close it and use it as a travel case. I'm disappointed but not surprised.
