Background: I signed up for an excellent and thorough iPhone photography course. Based on what I saw in the photos, I decided to trade my phone in for an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I've been using Otterbox cases on my last two phones for over 10 years, but in the past I've still worked and cared more about protection than looks. I used the Defender model, which offers good protection, but you never see the phone's slim body or its color. I received the phone, the Otterbox clear case and the Amplify series antimicrobial screen protector. I first applied the screen protector as directed and followed the instructions carefully. I installed the Otterbox Symmetry Clear Case. It was very tight and no matter what I did the edges of the screen protector would not flatten out and it started to peel off. I've reinstalled it twice with no success. Meanwhile, I just don't like the feel of the Otterbox's symmetrical body, and yes, that's understandable, but it still looks like cheap plastic to me. Also, in the iPhone Photos class, you will learn how to hold the phone properly, which means the phone is in your left hand, that is, straight out of the palm, with the camera pulled out, thumb up, and fingers on the other side. I ordered a MOBOSI Vanguard Armor case in blue to match my cell phone. The case is perfect for holding the photographer properly and it has pads on each side of the photo from the camera side to ensure you hold the phone correctly every time. The edges of the phone are also protected, as is the lens block. On the clear screen on the camera side, you can see the phone's body and the prominent logo in the center. I love this case. When I used the MOBOSI case, the screen protector lay flat with no separation. You have to decide what kind of protection you need. At work, for the rougher use, you might want the protection of the Defender Series, but if you value your phone, want protection where you need it, and have the right grip when you gently press the trigger, this is perfect. Case for iPhone. As if this recommendation wasn't enough, you can buy almost 3 of these cases for what Apple charges for the Otterbox Symmetry Clear Case. This is a great product with great value for money.
