Encourages sharp edges without smearing
As a newbie to screen printing, I still have trouble creating sharp edges. This stencil has an interesting texture on the underside that helps the paint not bleed through. In the photos I'm attaching, the sharp-edged bird on the branch is due to the stencil texture side touching the board. The bird flying higher was bleeding through some because I had to get it to face a different direction. Either way, these stencils DEFINITELY produce clean, crisp images that are way better than other stencils I've tried.
