On the Rollerblade Macroblade 3WD: There is no way to ADDITIONALLY tighten the upper shin strap. Once you have your shoe on and the TOP STRAP is halfway retracted into the ratchet cuff, there is NO LEVER to further tighten it and the ratchet top strap/cuff is most important for inline skating. Because the strap is INSIDE the cuff, you cannot tighten it from the other side. It's similar to Catch-22. On most inline skates (other brands) the top calf strap does NOT go into the cuff so you can tighten it a different way OR there is a washer to tighten it further OR the buckle allows for leverage. Continue tightening notch by notch. The Rollerblade Macroblade 3WD contains NOTHING of what has just been said. The laces and 45° ankle strap are NOT EVEN 30% as important as the ratchet closure. Is Rollerblade SO STUPID that Rollerblade DON'T UNDERSTAND that the upper shaft is the MOST IMPORTANT part of an inline skate? This seriously has to be the DUMPEST design and construction flaw, especially when it comes to so-called "premium" skates.
