Replacing the defective one works perfectly.
Rating changed from 1 star to 4 because the LG TV remote looks and works like the real thing. On the first one, I edited some features like power, arrows, channel up/down, and volume up/down, but many buttons didn't work. I ordered a replacement and sent the first one back via Kohls which was pretty painless. They don't seem to have much quality control.
