This is my first laptop from Apple, so this review will be of more interest to those who want to switch to macOS from Windows. First impressions of the device: the laptop is very thin. It is much thinner than it seems in the reviews and in the photo on the network. After switching on, about an hour of merciless destruction of my neurons followed, since I didn’t even know how it turns off, not to mention something relatively complicated))) The first hour or two after Windows is hell! But every day the work behind the MacBook became more and more comfortable. It's been 2 weeks since the purchase and I note that I'm 90% used to it. Now about the impressions of the technical features: -I was very pleased with the battery life, I take it to work without a power supply, it lasts from 10 am to 7 pm with short breaks. Approximate energy consumption is 10-12% per hour (wi-fi included, searching for information on the Internet, working with text files). But it is important to understand that watching online videos is practically not included in my daily routine, which, of course, would reduce the autonomy indicator. -I heard a lot about how cool the trackpad on the Mac is, but did not understand how it could be better than on any other laptop if it looks the same. It's something incredible. I still struggle with tactile gestures, but now I can say that it is more convenient to work on it than with a mouse on Windows. -About the touchbar in all the reviews they say that it is not needed and it is of no use. I do not agree. Yes, it is inconvenient to type with it, but primitive tasks can be done much faster, such as adjusting the screen brightness, volume, scrolling video, moving between pages, etc. I would say that the touchbar is an addition to the trackpad and in combination they are a unique device control module. - The screen is good, but there is no strong WOW effect -The case is assembled flawlessly, aluminum feels very expensive, but this is also a drawback, since it is impossible to put it on the stomach in the winter season, it is cold. - I liked the sound, it sounds clear and voluminous. Satisfied)
