After a few months of use (no abuse or drops) I noticed a white "filling" surrounding the metal part that goes in your phone, table, etc. were torn. When I carefully pulled the connector out of my phone, the metal stayed in place and the plastic (or whatever was white) fell apart completely, leaving the metal stuck in my phone's microUSB port. After a few moments of panic and a few tries, I was able to gently pry the metal connector out of my phone. This product seems like a great idea but I have no idea why it fell apart like that and it could render your phone useless if you can't charge it!
