Review on Wax Clay Glue Needed DPG by Nicole Mcleod

The main picture is wrong but the others are correct

I cook and gel soak my 5 daughters who also love to paint with diamonds. About the size of a ballpoint pen, the pen is smooth and filled with small pink plastic crystals that are comfortable to use. I wish they were a bit wider for comfort, but they are wider than the cheap pink plastic grips that come with most kits. One end is a metal nozzle that diamond artists fill with pink wax to accommodate burs and manicurists use gems. I hate it as much as the others I've tried. only pain. I use it more to move drills to exactly where I need them. If you haven't used wax tips before, you should give it a try. There is a soft but hard cone of wax, for lack of a better word (in the main photo on the listing it's wide and thick, almost diamond-shaped, but other photos are actually accurate, it's a smooth cone). Wax easily picks up the drill and applies it to the image or nail. The trick is to use a light hand, if you press too hard the wax will flatten out. I've found that it's possible to gently press it into the mold or use the side of the wax cone, but it's really better to be careful when placing items. As it gets too thick with use, you can cut off the side to get the tip back. I found I could take a few small pictures or one large one without stopping and reloading the other pens. Wax will not transfer paint to your drill bits, although they will transfer some wax with too much pressure. The tips are interchangeable, so you can buy extra wax cones and don't have to change the pen every time.

Pros
  • Comfort grip
Cons
  • Not sure
