Review on Superscript by Arturo Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent for people who don't want to learn how to use other software

It's super easy for anyone who knows how to use Notepad++ or Sublime Text to edit their comics without having any prior experience with editing scripts! As it is an open source software, I can also change its code if needed but that doesn't make much sense since most of my modifications are about improving usability in general rather than adding specific features here and there (like some other comic editors do). If someone has no previous knowledge they should be able to learn quickly enough just by reading tutorials online instead of doing things step-by-step like me. Also, while using this program one does get used to all its quirks so when starting from scratch again after months/years away it isn't really hard anymore - especially because once familiarized everything feels natural at first sight. Being able to work more efficiently without spending hours trying different methods to achieve what could have easily been achieved within minutes makes Superscript easier to handle. For.

Pros
  • Its ability as both script editor AND webcomic viewer.
  • Easy learning curve even though advanced techniques come later down time; still being very good beginner friendly too due low system requirements etc.,
  • Openness allowing almost anything possible including modding capabilities which would otherwise require quite complicated setup procedures elsewhere.; )
Cons
  • Secret
