Extremely bad quality.
These are the thinnest pieces of flannel I have ever bought. I actually bought it for flamingos but was totally shocked when I received it. I think the edges were loosely sewn. I washed them right away and they got a little fluffy when they came out of the dryer. If I hadn't wanted a flamingo flannel for the project I would have sent them back. Don't waste money. I don't see anyone using them on a real baby. Like I said, they were terribly thin. Certainly nothing like the old-fashioned receiving blanket.
