Pretty nice but has issues

I bought this keyboard and mouse because I needed them to be compatible with my MacBook. I noticed very quickly that he had quirks. It's a new keyboard and sometimes it doesn't remove a letter when you use enter and when you press it a second time it removes two spaces, usually that's another letter I need. I learned how to use the arrow keys instead of the backspace key to delete the backspace key. I usually use letters with umlauts and I'm not sure what the problem is with this keyboard, but when I press and hold the appropriate letter the umlaut is not selected and when I try to use ASCII letters it freezes and it is impossible to continue typing. I have to copy the document, then close the document, create a new document, and paste what I wrote before I start typing again. I've only had this keyboard for a few days and am already concerned about durability. I'm not sure about the mouse/keyboard battery life. I have a habit of turning both off when using them. I can say it works and typing is good, the keys are quiet. In general I am not satisfied with them.
