Review on πŸ”¬ Exploring Diversity in STEM: LEGO Minifigures 11 Female Scientist by David Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Science and Lego work side by side.

I received two series 11 Lego minifigures in the mail today including a female scientist. The reason for my purchase is that it is becoming impossible to find a store near me that still sells Series 11 blind pouches. Even the nearest Toys R Us store, an hour from where I live, was sold out. For the time being, collectors can only search for individual figures on the Internet. You can try your luck and buy some blind bags. However, if the customer hasn't felt what's in the packages to correctly identify who's inside, this method becomes a crappy spin. Luckily Revain.com seller Venengaia sold the two I wanted at a great price. an example of how Lego put so much quality and detail into such a small figure. By reusing some parts, like the chignon (used by the nurse from Series 1), the scientist stands out as her own character. The cute expression on her face, the design of her lab coat on her torso and legs are amazing. If you look closely, you can even find a legible inscription on her ID card (her name is PROFESSOR K. BODIN). This is the hallmark of a premium minifigure. Series 11 is coming to an end. If you're looking for a female scientist and your local Toys R Us store still carries them around, I highly recommend heading there while time is still on your side and they're still in stock. If Toys R Us isn't near you, I recommend checking online, but don't pay too much. It may be amazing, but don't buy it for $8-10 with no shipping.
