These are very thin panels. I bought them to separate the living room and kitchen because I have an open plan house and needed some sort of separation. Works well enough until I can build a real wall. The pattern is cute. This allows light from the kitchen to illuminate the living room. So if you want to divide the space a bit but still let the light and sound in, this is a great option. Installation wasn't that bad, but it was a hassle to push out all the perforated holes and connect those tiny ball chains. The ceiling fan's air blows around it a bit, but not too much. All in all it was a cheap and quick way to share space.
