I've used a laptop every day for years. My old one has been stuck for some time. You can get something plain and simple like mine at Walmart for about the same price and save on shipping, but since I'm a serious and longtime user, a few bucks more is worth the investment. The size of this device is ideal. It's not too much of an inconvenience. I personally don't need a clip on the side, but I know someone will find it useful. The indentations at the top are ideal for pens and pencils. Durability? It seems more durable than the basic thing I've been using for years. So why am I saying it's not perfect? Well I gave it 5 stars because it's the best but I don't like the black color. I don't like looking at a black surface while reading and studying. white is much better. Some of you may like black, but I don't think it's a calming color. I'm even thinking about painting it white! Otherwise, this laptop desk should last for years.
