Review on Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera Body (Kit Box) - No Lens Included, International Version with No Warranty by Eh Chit ᠌

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I used a kit lens (18-55mm) for the first month after purchase; the images are of decent quality but are dim. I later purchased a Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8. The lack of autofocus is not at all embarrassing; in fact, it facilitates shooting and some learning. There are no issues with the camera; for 3.5 months it performed flawlessly and delighted everyone. To increase my options, I'm going to soon add a Nikon 55-200 to the set.

Pros
  • The rubberized handle is more practical than the plastic one because of its small size and comfort in the hand. Convenient control—turn it on, configure it as needed, and then take pictures while adjusting the shutter speed, aperture, and something set to the third button (in my case, iso). This is another convenience because there aren't any additional buttons that could be confusing or that a beginner would likely not need. Perhaps its biggest plus is the caliber of the images! I'm not even talking about 14 megapixels; I myself adjusted the picture size to medium (3456 * 2304). The whale lens is excellent; the colors are stunning, but the focusing occasionally fails (I shoot manually). Up to ISO 800, there is absolutely no noise, at 1600, they are hardly undetectable, and in competent hands, Hi2 will be noise-free.
Cons
  • Despite the fact that I praised its proportions, it can occasionally feel cramped and uneasy. The viewfinder is small, which can occasionally be inconvenient (although it is more of a gripe).
