These powerful and compact LED modules are ideal for use with my woodworking power tools. While some of the newer power tools have built in lights, like me you have older models and need more and more light when cutting or drilling. With my compound miter saw, I simply connected an adapter to the delayed vacuum plug and the light comes on 2 seconds after the saw starts and stays on for 5 seconds after the saw stops. For both the drill press and band saw, I drilled a small hole in the control box of both machines, then soldered the appropriate wires to the "ON" side of the power switch so the light would turn on automatically when each machine was started. I left enough cord to allow the magnet base to be moved around if needed for specific tasks.
