As another reviewer noted, although the description says Samantha is all chiffon, the petticoat I received is huge and clearly crystal. And as they also noted, if you look closely, the product images seem to indicate that two different fabrics are used. The petticoat I received doesn't have the soft drape or the gentle sweep of chiffon, but rather stands out. like a tutu and bounces like a basketball when walking. It's also ridiculously gigantic. If I were doing a square dance, I would choose this petticoat, but as I want to add subtle, sophisticated fullness to a casual dress, this isn't it. I was able to snag a folobe for less than $15 for an odd Revain quirk, and it's exactly what I was looking for, even though it wasn't the color I wanted. But at least now I know which brand I prefer. There are a few other brands that might be softer too and I'll keep an eye on their sales as well. For $70 I expect MM to send me what they advertise. going back.
