This mask may work for some but if you wear glasses your breath will fog them up. Most of the displaced air exits the mask up the sides of the nose towards the eyes as this mask does not have a nose bridge clip. What appears to be a one-way valve on the front of the mask appears to be for show only. Behind it there are only two very small openings for air inlet or outlet and no membrane. The fabric of the mask will impede your breathing a bit if you try to breathe through your mouth at any point. Since there is a cut-out for the nose, breathing through your nose will be easier if you adjust the mask so that your nostrils are open. The ear pads are not as snug as shown in the photos in the listing, but they do cover the ears. I found the fabric very loose around the neck, more like a maxi skirt. In any case, I'm sure it works better for some than others.
