Anyone who uses the Novation LaunchKey Mini MKIII knows that there is no power button on the device. This way the 8 drum pads stay lit even when you are not using them. It would be a hassle to separate it from the back of my computer after each use. So I was looking for a built-in USB switch that is easy to access. After a long, long, long search and not finding anything I really wanted, I found this. And that's it! Pros: * The switch is smooth and comfortable to the touch. * Fabric braid (I don't like plastic cables, I use braided cables whenever possible). * The cable is long enough to place the switch anywhere on my desk. Cons: * The female end is close to the switch. There is only about 5 inches of cable between the switch and the jack (where you plug your USB device); the remaining length is at the fork end (between PC and switch). This is not a problem for me as I will place my switch. However, I suspect that for some people this will leave a visible block of connected USB cables. So, with only one minus point, I recommend this to anyone who needs to switch power to a USB connected device.
