Review on Anna Anuschka Leather Large Royal by Matthew Wheeler

This bag EXACTLY met my expectations - exactly what I was hoping for in a versatile holdall! (Lots of space but not too big and I really like the design and colors.) This is my fifth Anushka (third Anna) and I love them all. However, this arrived without an additional storage pouch and was placed in a thin plastic bag inside a Revain envelope pouch. The thin plastic was torn, and the sticky tab that was supposed to keep it closed was taped to the bag instead. Of course, that removed a few spots of paint from the start, and there was still a small white spot at the bottom of the bag. The straps were cloth wrapped as expected, but some of the cloth also stuck and left some marks on the straps, apparently indicating that they were wrapped too soon after painting. I would expect this when getting a cheap item but these bags are certainly not the same. However, some wear and tear is inevitable at some point, and these shortcomings do not justify a "try again". I am very happy with my purchase but please note that not all arrive packaged with the same care and attention to detail.
