I had two plastic faucets on my kombucha jar and they both ended up breaking or corroding. They were also constantly clogged with fungus. This faucet is just amazing. Continuous flow, no clogging. I've only been using it for a few months with no problems so far. Much better as plastic taps for sour and clogged kombucha.
