This cushion cover is very accurately represented in the pictures. The green of solid tees is very dark, almost black. If that was the only problem, I'd probably put up with it. I can lighten the trees a bit with a light fabric paint using the drybrush technique. However, the fabric is an open-weave burlap (such as cross-stitch fabric). If you're planning on using this cover over a plain white pillow insert, no big deal. Anything darker will show through. I have pillows with a non-removable fabric cover, so this doesn't work for me. And I'm sorry, but it's just not cute enough to buy an extra plain insert.
