I am looking for a good mattress pad because the one I bought 4 years ago no longer works for us. With a 4 year old potty son who likes to move into our bed (or nap in our bed instead) every now and then. Our mattress topper screams REPLACE ME. I have 2 zippers that I no longer want to buy because the zipper is a problem after a few washes (I know they say it should last but for some reason ours doesn't). Anyway, so I got this Adoric mattress topper. in king size and I'm glad I chose this brand. Please note that I received this today and am basing my review only on what I saw/felt and will try to update this review after a few months of use. As soon as we open this package, it turns out that it does NOT have that strange smell. Smells like cotton and new lol. My 2 boys are happy that the smell is good. I like the features and benefits of this brand. after a few weeks of use) * Breathable membrane (we sweat a lot, living in Texas in the summer isn't fun) and I like that it's breathable and again not plastic * Machine washable (I like to wash the bedspreads several times a year ( hangs depends on how they smell) Be sure to read the instructions before washing so you know exactly what you can and can't do , the bed itself is NOT waterproof (top is NOT waterproof, BUT bottom) * Protects against dust mites Husband travels a lot and stays at home Hotels and dust mites are always a fear for me I'm glad there will be * Protects against allergens My 9 year old son has always had allergies since birth and I'm always on the lookout for products , which I know help fight allergens We also have a dog and dandruff is always a problem In our house I'm glad this Adoric mattress protector is becoming my kostb protect aren boys while they lie in our bed. I am planning to get my boys beds with their own Adoric mattress topper. Love that it's a form fitting style, we have a heavy memory foam bed and lifting/removing the zipped mattress topper is such hard work (definitely wouldn't recommend this for the elderly or those with back issues). The tailored look is much easier to put on and take off. I like that the gum they use is of good quality (not the kind I saw at Walmart when looking for a replacement). I also love how soft it is. My 4 year old says he loves it and feels good so it's a good sign I made the right decision to purchase this product. In general I am a happy mother. I'm glad I ordered this brand instead. Again, this review is based on a product that I purchased and received today. Will be updated after a few months of use. (Please check the photos I've attached to get an idea)
