This is a travel blender, not the same as a kitchen blender. This is perfect for road trips and keeps me from eating junk food from regular stores. I can buy fruit and veg at the grocery store and have a smoothie on the go. I recommend chopping any fruit or veg into small pieces. This blender can't grind big chunks, it's not that powerful. Bananas, peaches, grapes, spinach, and avocados work very well. It also makes excellent milkshakes.
