Headphones and transmitter are paired immediately after installation. The sound quality is excellent. I have hearing loss and use a Bluetooth transmitter that streams TV shows and movies directly to my hearing aids. The sound quality of the Avantree headphones offers a more natural sound and I don't need hearing aids to listen and understand. If I had tried Avantree first I could have saved $279 which was the cost of the ReSound TV broadcaster. I will be buying a second Avantree headset for my home in Arizona once I have a few extras in my bag.
