Maybe the chair was too big. But I have serious hips and weigh 210 so you can judge if you try. I would advise you to try it. We had to send it back *snorts*. I want this chair to work. Such a great price for a foldable, lightweight, beautifully designed chair with so many goodies. But it just didn't work for us.
