I have several makeup remover wipes and I love them. This kit is very similar to those that allow you to remove makeup without soap or detergent. There are two small heart-shaped napkins with finger holes. They are made for the eye area and I love that you get two of these - one for each eye so there is no cross contamination. They remove mascara, eyeliner and shadows under the eyes well without rubbing or irritating the cleanser. They don't always completely remove waterproof mascara, but I usually use eye makeup remover first when applying it. They come in a small mesh drawstring bag and should be hand washed after each use and machine washed in a pouch after a few uses. So far they have been easy to use and effective. I don't know if I really need to put my fingers in the hole, but I do, and it allows me to apply gentle pressure to the area around my eyes and brush away the debris. I admit that I don't always use both at the same time. Sometimes I just use one, rinse it out and then use it on the other eye, which isn't a good idea, but I've had no problems. Overall, they remove eye make-up fairly well without soap or detergent and hold up well. They're not as soft as a makeup eraser, but they're not abrasive either. A great idea for removing makeup without scrubbing and without using harsh chemicals.
